The dots are from an object photographed in the lab at the tech school where I am taking a class. I have been thinking of the circle as a transcendent shape...the grid of dots even better.

Went to see a production of Shakespeare's The Tempest at UMFon this chilly afternoon. Stan designed the ship's sails with the same layered sheer cloth effect that inspires me for this theme.

A striped fabric is suspended under the roof of the greenhouse, perhaps for shade. Chloe is holding grasses on the beach last summer.

It has been so bitter cold. I stopped in at Longfellows Greenhouse just to feel the warmth. I found colorful paper orbs so much like flowers...just lovely.
